Our Atlanta office has an opportunity for a candidate with both data entry experience and superb Microsoft Excel skills to join their expanding immigration practice group as a data clerk. The immigration practice group employs over 73 immigration attorneys and over 124 paraprofessionals.

Summary of Position:
Performs a variety of data entry, scan, copy and filing duties to track and document receipt/approval notices from USCIS in the Firm’s centralized document management systems and business records. Communicates receipt/approval information to visa beneficaries via e-mail correspondence and via transmittal letters prepared for attorney review/signature. Ensures that immigration documents are easily accessible to clients, legal and non-legal staff members.
These are the essential functions of the position:
Copies all receipts/approvals
Transmits appointment notices to administrative secretaries for processing
Enters receipt/approvals into VisaTrax
Scans and enters receipts/approvals into DMS
Prepares e-mail correspondence to visa beneficiaries
Scans, copies and enters incoming documents from visa beneficiaries
Prepares attorney transmittal letters
Assists with biweekly RMS audit of files located in attorney offices
Assists with monthly RMS audit of files located in HD file room
Assists with file closing and on-site file organization projects
Assists with preparation to remove on-site files to off-site storage facility
Provides back-up coverage for front desk personnel as needed
Assists with loose and red weld filing as time permits
2+ years of data entry experience, preferably in a law firm.
Excellent organizational skills; ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word and Outlook, with ability to learn specialized immigration management software VisaTrax and a document management system.
Able to operate multi-line phone, calculator, copier, fax, and scanner.
Strong time management skills; ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Flexibility to work weekend overtime for monthly RMS monthly audits; willing to commit to work additional hours when necessary to reach Firm objectives
Strong client service skills are crucial in this team oriented environment.
