GENERAL PURPOSE: Performs the more difficult duties associated with support of the District’s records management systems and processes; provides technical guidance, support and training to Departmental Records Coordinators; participates in responding to Public Records Act and subpoena requests; and performs related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work in a team setting; demonstrate a focus on achieving organizational goals under tight deadlines; utilize time efficiently to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner; have excellent oral and written communication skills; and possess the ability to analyze organizational challenges and propose appropriate solutions. Completion of courses and/or other programs sponsored by the Association of Records Management Administrators (ARMA) International or the equivalent is highly desirable.
Graduation from a recognized college with an Associate's degree in business, legal studies, library technology, information systems or another relevant field; and at least three years of progressively responsible records management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a water utility is preferred.
