Williams Mullen is seeking a Senior Talent Management Coordinator (non-exempt) with 2-4 years of experience with attorney recruiting in a law firm, or in a related field working with attorneys, law alumni or law students, or experience with recruiting of professionals with graduate degrees. Experience coordinating events or training programs is useful. This fast-paced position offers a high-energy person a unique opportunity to work with the Director of Talent Management on recruiting, screening, and hiring attorney candidates, as well as be part the firm’s attorney professional development initiatives and the firm’s diversity and inclusion activities. The Senior Coordinator will work as part of the Talent Management team, which includes a Talent Management Director (NALP long-time member, Cinnamon Baker), a Manager of Professional Development, and an additional Talent Management Coordinator. The position offers a highly collaborative team environment, ongoing skill development, and opportunities to contribute to departmental process improvement.

Provides attorney recruiting support to Director and firm, and coordinates activities for attorney candidates in all firm office locations with minimal oversight.
Work with Director to post jobs, conduct passive candidate searches, vet candidates, and maintain communication with attorney candidates; conduct phone screen interviews, plan and coordinate on-site interview schedules and assist with greeting or closing with on-site candidate, manage interview feedback, etc.
Assist with presenting offers to candidates as well as the intake and onboarding process.
Assist with regular updates to external and internal websites.
Assists the Director with managing several firm-wide committees and initiatives, including the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Attend committee meetings, take meeting notes and distribute minutes.
Assist Director and Manager to research and plan for committee events, communicate with internal and external contacts and vendors to organize all aspects of events, etc.
Assist the Director and Manager to track and implement items for the firm’s D&I Strategic Plan. Assist with maintaining statistical information about attorney diversity.
Assist Director with maximizing the firm’s national NALP membership through accessing research, attending webinars, and engaging with NALP colleagues in the legal recruiting and professional development industry.
Collaboratively work as part of team effort on planning and implementing the firm’s annual student recruiting activities and the firm’s summer associate program, and work with internal and external contacts and vendors to organize all aspects of recruiting and summer events.
Assists Manager of Professional Development with attorney integration and professional development processes and programming events.

2+ years of experience with law firm legal recruiting, a law-related field such as law school career or alumni services, or experience recruiting professionals with graduate degrees in another industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A genuine interest in working with attorneys to join and thrive at our law firm.
Strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate well both in written and verbal form.
Comfortable taking initiative, and exercising discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism to achieve results.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks in an accurate and timely fashion.
This position requires some flexibility in hours, occasional evening and some overtime may be required.
