The candidate will be assisting the Firm's Real Estate Group with all aspects of real estate transactins as well as assisiting other departments with various transactional duties  Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with a paralegal certificate preferred.  Must have 2-plus years of legal assistant or paralegal experience in a transactional capacity, with real estate experience preferred.  Should have experience conducting due diligence reviews, preparing closing documents and deed packages, managing real estate closings, reviewing title opinions and preparing other basic real estate transactional documents.  Must be familiar with filing appropriate documents with the Secretary of State, County Recorder's Offices and Internal Revenue Service.

  • Excellent customer service skills including patience, empathy and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to multi-task, meet required deadlines and good time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software
