Ballard Spahr has a new opportunity available for a Senior Director of Industry Strategy and Development who will partner with firm leadership to develop and direct Ballard’s strategy and organizational framework to drive growth of the firm’s brand position and market share across key client industries. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director will provide program-wide leadership by establishing standards, engagement, and measurement across all teams; overseeing the development of strategic goals and implementation plans; and directing collaboration and accountability across all teams. This position provides an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in support of revenue growth objectives. In addition to the program-wide responsibilities, the Senior Director of Industry Strategy and Development will contribute strategic and operational support to several individual industry teams.
Requirements include a minimum of seven years of related experience including strategic planning and execution expertise; designing and implementing industry team strategy and related framework; creating and presenting strategic plans to senior management; developing market and competitor analyses, client needs analyses, growth strategies, strategy execution plans, and initiatives; and knowledge of trends and business issues in the Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare and/or Education industries preferred. An undergraduate degree in business, marketing or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. This position can be located in any of our Ballard offices.
