South Amboy, NJ immigration practice seeks experienced and highly motivated Immigration Paralegal to handle business immigration cases including PERM and other employment-based matters.
Responsibilities:
Handle PERM applications from intake through processing and filing
Handle L visa, EB1 and NIW matters from intake through processing and filing, including compiling corporate information and documentation, and drafting supporting letters
Assist with non-immigrant matters (H, TN visas, etc.) and immigrant matters (140, CP, AOS, naturalization, etc.)
Support preparation/filing of family-based matters, as needed
Keep clients apprised of the progress of their cases
Liaise with government agencies (DOL, USCIS, NVC) to troubleshoot issues as necessary
Respond to immigration inquiries in a timely manner
Qualifications:
3+ years of business immigration paralegal experience, extensive knowledge of the PERM process, and be familiar with most NIV and IV visas3+ years of business immigration paralegal experience, extensive knowledge of the PERM process, and be familiar with most NIV and IV visas
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and effective time management
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with case management systems (INSZoom a plus)
