About the Position: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in business-related immigration to join our law firm for an in-office position based in Ames, Iowa. The successful candidate will specialize in handling PERM labor certifications and other employment-based immigration processes. This role involves direct interaction with corporate clients and offers a significant opportunity for career growth in the field of immigration law.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file a wide range of visa petitions on behalf of clients, focusing on PERM labor certifications, H visas, and other employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.
Assist clients with all stages of the PERM process, including drafting job descriptions, managing recruitment processes, and filing with the Department of Labor.
Advise clients on immigration strategies and compliance with U.S. federal immigration laws.
Represent clients during USCIS interviews and other legal proceedings.
Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of the status of their applications and any changes in immigration law that may affect their cases.
Conduct legal research and draft memos, responses, and other legal documents.
Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and other team members to ensure the smooth handling of client cases.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to any U.S. State Bar.
1-3 years of experience specifically in business-related immigration law, with a strong focus on the PERM process.
