Counsels, litigates, and represents County entities and personnel in administrative, judicial and appellate proceedings. Drafts pleadings, opinions, memoranda, briefs, motions, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, deeds, contracts, leases and other instruments. Handles all of the duties and functions of a CA Attorney I, with an increasing level of responsibility consistent with the lawyer's experience and development. Depending on experience, ability and leadership, a CA Attorney II should expect to have some responsibility for planning, directing, implementing and supervising the legal affairs of the County.
